Rediscover Your Creative Side
A 5-day creative adventure for women ready to paint again
Make your next chapter one of your most creative.
Maybe you used to paint years ago.
Maybe you've always wanted to learn.
Or maybe the paints are sitting right there in the closet, waiting for “someday.”
Let's make someday this week.
Join me online for five encouraging, nature-inspired days designed to help you reconnect with your creativity, make room for painting in your life, create something you're proud of, and discover a simple rhythm for continuing long after our five days together.
You don't need to consider yourself an artist.
You don't need a fancy studio.
And you certainly don't need to be “good enough.”
Just bring your curiosity. We'll start from there.
YES! I'M READY TO CREATE — $10
Maybe it's been a while...
Life has a way of filling itself up.
Careers. Children. Family. Homes. Responsibilities. Taking care of everyone and everything that needed you.
And somewhere along the way, creativity may have quietly moved to the bottom of the list.
Now you're entering a different chapter.
Maybe you finally have a little more time for yourself—and you're wondering what you'd like to do with it.
You might be thinking:
“I haven't painted in years.”
“I'd love to start again, but I don't know where to begin.”
“I have plenty of art supplies. I just never seem to use them.”
“I'm not sure I'm artistic enough.”
“I'd love something creative to look forward to.”
If any of that sounds familiar, Rediscover Your Creative Side was created for you.
This isn't about becoming a professional artist in five days.
It's about remembering how wonderful it feels to create.
Imagine five days from now...
Your paints aren't hiding in the closet anymore.
You've created a little place where you can actually use them.
You've picked up a brush.
You've painted something inspired by the wild.
You've shared a few laughs and creative moments with other women.
And you've started thinking differently about yourself.
Instead of...
“I used to paint.”
You might find yourself saying...
“I'm painting again.”
And perhaps even...
“I think there's still an artist in me.”
I'M READY TO REDISCOVER MY CREATIVE SIDE
DAY 1 — REMEMBER
Remember the Artist You Were
Before there were responsibilities, expectations, and comparisons, there was curiosity.
We'll look back at your creative story, remember what you once loved making, and begin uncovering the creative interests that may still be waiting for you.
You'll leave thinking:
“I really did love being creative.”
DAY 2 — MAKE SPACE
Make Space for Creativity
You don't need the perfect studio to be an artist.
We'll create a simple, welcoming place for your creativity to live—whether that's an entire studio, a desk, a rolling cart, or a basket of supplies beside the kitchen table.
You'll learn how to remove some of the little obstacles that make painting harder to begin.
You'll leave thinking:
“I have a place for this.”
DAY 3 — CREATE
Paint Something Wild
It's time to stop preparing and start painting!
We'll discover a little about our wild subject and then bring it to life together through an approachable, nature-inspired painting experience.
No perfection.
No comparison.
Just step-by-step encouragement, paint, nature, and a little fun.
And yes...
You're going to sign your painting.
You'll leave thinking:
“Look what I made!”
DAY 4 — FIND YOUR RHYTHM
Make Creativity Part of Your Week
The hardest part of painting often isn't learning how.
It's actually making time to do it.
We'll create a realistic creative appointment that fits your life and explore simple ways to keep creating—even during busy weeks.
Because creativity doesn't need every day.
It just needs a place in your life.
You'll leave thinking:
“I can make time for this.”
DAY 5 — BEGIN AGAIN
Begin Your Next Creative Chapter
Now we look forward.
What might your creative life look like six months from now?
What would you love to paint?
Learn?
Explore?
Who might you become if you continued giving yourself permission to create?
You'll create your own simple creative promise for the next 90 days.
You'll leave thinking:
“This is only the beginning.”
Every Day Includes Three Simple Ingredients
LEARN
A short, encouraging lesson to help you think differently about creativity, painting, and your next chapter.
CREATE
A practical action that moves you from thinking about creativity to actually living it.
REFLECT
A meaningful prompt to help you notice what's changing—and decide what you'd like to carry forward.
No grades. No pressure. No perfect paintings required.

Meet your guide,

Artist • Naturalist • Creative Life Guide
Hi, I'm Glenda, artist and founder of Discover the Wild Side and the Paint the Wild Online Artist Community.
Art and nature have been part of my life since childhood. I grew up drawing, painting, and exploring the woods of our family farm, searching for animal tracks and wildlife. That curiosity eventually led to a bachelor's degree in wildlife biology and experiences with the Colorado Division of Wildlife, a raptor rehabilitation center, and as a park ranger and naturalist.
But like so many of us, life got busy.
Marriage, motherhood, career, responsibilities, and eventually divorce meant my own creativity often came last. I never stopped loving art — I simply stopped making time for it.
Now, in my mid-50s, I'm creating a different kind of next chapter. I've returned to painting, hiking, exploring, and making creativity part of my week again.
And it feels wonderful.
That's a big reason I created Paint the Wild.
I want to help you rediscover the creative part of yourself that may have been waiting while you took care of everything else.
You don't have to be an experienced artist or create perfect paintings. Come as you are. Pick up a brush, explore nature, try something new, and enjoy creating alongside people who understand.
I'm not here to tell you what kind of artist you should become. I'm here to help you rediscover the artist who is already there.
Rediscover your creativity. Reconnect with nature. Find your people.
~ Glenda
